Three small steps can make it easier to follow through.
Check school, transportation, activities, and family responsibilities. Be honest about the days and times you can commit.
Think about reliability, communication, technology, teamwork, languages, caregiving, school projects, clubs, and volunteer experience.
Before accepting work, confirm the tasks, location, schedule, pay, supervision, transportation, and who to contact if plans change.

Usually, no. Many TTYSB opportunities are designed to help young people gain experience. Read each program description and ask if there are age, grade, permission, training, or transportation requirements.
No. The forms help TTYSB understand who is looking for work and which employers have opportunities. Employers make their own hiring decisions, and availability can change.
Some projects may qualify. Ask TTYSB before beginning, and check your school or organization’s rules about which hours count and what documentation is required.
That is completely fine. Contact TTYSB and share your age or grade, interests, availability, transportation needs, and whether you are looking for work, service, leadership, or a new skill.

Learn how to become a safe and responsible babysitter! Tri-Town offers the American Heart Association’s Pediatric First Aid and CPR course, along with a Babysitter Training Certificate Program.
