Tri-Town Youth Services Bureau, Inc. (“Tri-Town,” “TTYSB,” “we,” or “us”) is a nonprofit serving youth and families in Chester, Deep River, and Essex, Connecticut. This policy applies to information collected through our public website and connected online services.

This website policy does not replace privacy notices, consent forms, or record-handling practices that may apply to a specific program or service.

• Volunteer, assistance, resource, Narcan, medication lock-bag, or general inquiry information.
• Donation and transaction-related information. Payment information is generally processed by the payment provider rather than stored directly by TTYSB.
• Any comments or other information you enter into a form or send to us.

Our website and service providers may also automatically receive limited technical information, such as IP address, browser or device type, referring page, pages visited, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifiers.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in a Mailchimp message. You may also contact us to ask about correcting or updating personal information that you previously submitted, subject to legal and program recordkeeping requirements.

You can choose not to provide optional information, but we may need certain details to complete a registration, respond to a request, or provide a service.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No website, email, or online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet operational, legal, grant, insurance, and recordkeeping requirements. Retention periods may differ by type of record.
